Anant Patel, Partner

Anant has over thirteen years of public accounting experience where he provides audit and accounting, tax and general business consulting services. His industry experience includes closely-held companies in real estate development, wholesale/distribution, waste management and recycling, manufacturing and service. Anant's experience also includes managing consolidated audits and reviews of the firm's clients that have significant international operations and/or subsidiaries, while working closely with other HLB International affiliates. Anant also has previous experience as an owner and manager of a successful family-owned retail business.

Anant co-chairs the firm's Real Estate Practice Group which services closely-held companies within Commercial and Residential Real Estate Development, including home-building, and provides extensive accounting and consulting services including financial statement audits, reviews and compilations, budgeting and cost allocation analysis, agreed upon procedures and internal control assessments. He is also a member of the firm's Accounting and Auditing Committee.

Prior to joining GH&J, Anant was a member of an affiliated HLB International professional accounting firm located in England. He graduated, with honors, from the University of Leeds, England, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting. Anant is a member of the California Society of CPAs and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Anant and his family reside in Stevenson Ranch located in Santa Clarita. Anant is an avid sports fan, especially soccer, and enjoys a wide variety of music.
