Andrew Waibel has over six years of public accounting experience providing high-net-worth tax and trust advisory services to clients. He specializes in complex individual taxation, fiduciary (trust and estate) returns and multi-generational wealth strategies.

Primarily working with high-net-worth individuals, family offices, fiduciaries and closely held businesses, Andrew’s services include income tax compliance, trust accounting, proactive wealth transfer planning and multi-state tax strategies. He helps clients #BeMore by serving as a strategic partner that anticipates needs, translates complex rules into actionable advice and supports individuals’ long-term goals.
Andrew is passionate about mentorship, inclusive workplace culture and finding moments of joy with his family, often with an iced coffee in hand and a toddler on his lap. He thoroughly enjoys building long-term relationships with clients, rooted in trust and shared values. He believes tax planning should empower clients, not overwhelm them.
Prior to joining GHJ in 2022, Andrew worked for PWC. He is currently a member of GHJ’s Parenting Cohort and part of the Tax Practice’s implementation of tax technologies, such as SurePrep and Autoflow.
Andrew graduated from the University of Utah, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Accounting with a Tax Emphasis.
