How does GHJ help you #BeMore?
GHJ’s culture allows me to work in a dynamic and demanding field while still allowing me to be present in the most important aspect of my life: my family.
What is your proudest professional moment, and why?
Building high-performing and successful teams in different markets, including my time abroad in Europe.
Ed Skiber, CPA, is a member of GHJ’s Transaction Advisory Services Practice. Based in Seattle, he has more than 15 years of experience, including over a decade focused on mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Ed provides financial due diligence services such as quality of earnings reporting and has advised both corporate and private equity clients on transactions ranging from $10 million to more than $30 billion. His industry experience includes entertainment, food and beverage, health and wellness, retail, technology, manufacturing and distribution, professional services, media and advertising and industrial products.
Ed began his career in audit where he worked with both publicly traded and privately held companies. He later transitioned into advising clients on complex technical accounting matters such as revenue recognition, derivatives, leases and variable interest entity analyses. He leverages this deep technical background to offer bold, compassionate guidance on high-stakes transactions that help clients achieve transformational outcomes.
Before joining GHJ in 2025, Ed spent much of his career working at Big Four firms in New York City and completed a two-year assignment in Munich, Germany, where he worked on cross-border M&A deals. He has been based in the Pacific Northwest since 2020.
Ed is a certified public accountant and earned a Bachelor of Accounting from Roger Williams University.
When not working, Ed enjoys skiing, hiking, working out and spending time with his family. His favorite places include Europe, the Pacific Northwest and his hometown of New York City.
