Elaine Douglas, CPA, has extensive experience in profit participation services, audits and litigation support for leading entertainment businesses. Having joined GHJ in 2025 after Hacker, Douglas & Company, LLP merged with the Firm, she also brings vast leadership experience to her role.
Elaine began her career with Hacker Douglas in 1983 and has, since then, performed expert witness services in over 40 entertainment industry cases and conducted profit participation audits for large motion picture and television industry leaders.
She regularly lends her unique knowledge to various industry seminars, speaking on dealmaking and profit participation for investors in the motion picture and television industry. Elaine is also a guest lecturer at UCLA.
Elaine has a bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Santa Cruz and completed accounting studies at UCLA. She is a member of the AICPA, CalCPA, the American Film Institute and Women in Film.
