Heather Clayton, CFE, has nearly 20 years of public accounting experience providing both litigation and profit participation services to clients.
At GHJ, Heather specializes in profit participation reviews on behalf of talent, investors, and co-producers at both major and mini studios. She currently manages reviews at Fox and Lionsgate and has also provided consulting services in entertainment-related litigation matters.
Prior to joining GHJ in 2019, Heather worked for a top forensic accounting firm, where she spent over a decade working with matters related to fraud, economic damages, labor disputes and large-scale data analysis. She has contributed to several high-profile cases, including two under the direction of then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris.
Internally, Heather serves as the PPS leader of Learning and Development and early careers and onboarding. She is also a guest speaker in dispute resolution at Pepperdine University School of Law.
Heather is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and the Motion Picture and Television Fund Foundation (MPTF).
She graduated from California State University, Long Beach, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. During her years on campus, she actively participated as a member of the International Business Association.
