Heather Thompson has nearly 15 years of accounting experience and is a member of GHJ’s Client Accounting and Advisory Services Practice. Heather works closely with business leaders and management teams to deliver comprehensive, proactive outsourced accounting and finance solutions.

Before joining GHJ, Heather was at an outsourced financial and accounting services firm that was acquired by GHJ in 2025. She has been working in the consulting field since 2017 and previously spent time at a post-production company and a property management business. In these roles, she gained experience in all functions of accounts payable, project accounting, account reconciliations and loan schedules. Heather also has extensive experience with multiple software and industries including professional services, manufacturing, apparel and construction.

Heather has a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting from California State University-Fullerton.
