Kate O’Connell, CPA, is a member of GHJ’s International Tax Practice and has eight years of public accounting experience. She provides international and domestic tax consulting and compliance services to businesses and individuals with U.S. reporting requirements.
Kate specializes in U.S. international tax planning and compliance and advises clients on inbound and outbound operations. She helps businesses and individuals navigate complex international tax rules to achieve favorable U.S. tax outcomes and support long-term growth.
Prior to joining GHJ in 2024, Kate worked at a mid-sized accounting firm, where she supported multinational businesses and high-net-worth individuals with a wide range of international and domestic tax matters.
Kate graduated from Kennesaw State University where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Georgia State University where she received her Master of Taxation degree.
