Katie Hettinger, CPA, is GHJ’s Denver Market Leader, who brings over 15 years of experience in tax services and consulting to her role. As the lead for GHJ’s Denver region, Katie plays a pivotal role in expanding the Firm’s presence in Colorado and serving as a trusted advisor to businesses and nonprofits across the region. She leads a dynamic team dedicated to delivering accounting, tax and advisory services within the Denver area.

Katie also specializes in tax planning and compliance for partnerships, S-corporations, high-net-worth individuals, family-owned businesses and closely held companies. She provides tax consulting and planning to national businesses across industries, with concentration in food and beverage, waste and recycling, and health and wellness.

Katie’s strong ties to the Denver business community and client-first approach have and continue to shape GHJ’s impact in Colorado and across the country. On a local level, she is highly involved in community volunteer efforts and business organizations. Her role within GHJ extends to the Firm’s coaching and mentorship initiatives, as she supports the facilitation of professional development and career trainings. She has also helped organize women’s networking events on behalf of the Firm.

Katie is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University. She currently lives in Colorado with her husband and daughter.
