As part of GHJ’s Transaction Advisory Services Practice, Mary Grace Doggett, CPA, provides financial due diligence support for mergers and acquisitions, advising clients on both buy- and sell-side transactions ranging from $10 million to $1 billion.
Mary Grace works closely with privately held and founder-owned businesses, as well as private equity firms, venture capital groups and institutional investors across a broad range of industries, with a particular specialization in the food and beverage sector.
Prior to joining GHJ in 2023, she began her career at a top-10 public accounting firm, where she provided audit and assurance services to both publicly traded and privately held companies. Her experience spanned multiple industries, with a primary focus on manufacturing, healthcare and technology.
Mary Grace earned her undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University, where she triple-majored in Accounting, International Studies, and Spanish Language and Literature, and later obtained her Master of Accounting degree. While at NC State, she was also a student athlete, competing in NCAA Division I Women’s Cross-Country and Track and Field.
Mary Grace currently serves as a Board Member and Executive Finance Committee member for Paws Humane Society, a nonprofit animal resource center dedicated to animal rescue and welfare.
Outside of work, she enjoys training for and running marathons, traveling, reading and spending time outdoors with her border collie, “Lavender.” Mary Grace also enjoys time at the beach with family and friends in Emerald Isle, North Carolina.
