Mitch Cota, CPA, has over four years of accounting experience providing audit and assurance services to clients. Mitch works in both nonprofit and for-profit industries with a specialized focus on museums. In his role, he leads audit engagements that deliver reliable assurance on financial statements, clear communication of audit findings and practical recommendations to strengthen internal controls and compliance.

His approachable nature and strong project management skills allow him to build trust with clients and ease the audit process for their businesses. In addition to museums, Mitch has expertise serving hospitality, agriculture and distribution businesses.

He began his career with GHJ in 2021. Mitch graduated from Loyola Marymount University (LMU), where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
