Nathaniel Meador has over four years of public accounting experience providing State and Local Tax (SALT) services to businesses and individuals. In his role, he supports multistate corporations, partnerships and S Corporations with a focus on tax compliance and consulting services. Nathaniel’s work spans a variety of industries, including manufacturing, professional services, esports and private equity. He also assists with individual filings; particularly where complex multistate or pass-through issues are involved.
As a member of the SALT Practice, Nathaniel helps clients with the complexities of multistate tax compliance and planning by identifying state-specific risks and opportunities, such as nexus exposure, apportionment strategies and filing efficiencies.
He enjoys working across a diverse range of businesses, as each brings its own unique challenges and nuances to state and local taxation. Nathaniel values the opportunity to dive into the distinct tax considerations that come with different operational structures and footprints. This variety keeps his work dynamic and allows him to deliver thoughtful, tailored insights to the teams he supports.
Outside of work, Nathaniel loves all things Tolkien, from The Silmarillion to The Lord of the Rings. He also enjoys swimming with his daughter to beat the Las Vegas heat.
Prior to joining GHJ in 2024, Nathaniel worked for Andersen in Chicago.
Nathaniel graduated from Carthage College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Finance.
