How do you help clients #BeMore?
I strive to perform audit services in a way that clients receive the most successful outcomes on their engagements.
How does GHJ help you #BeMore?
Outside of work, I am deeply committed to my family, nature and wildlife photography, and services that support animal welfare organizations.
What issues in the community do you care most about, and how does it motivate you?
I am a prior Board member of the Gentle Barn Foundation, a national nonprofit specializing in the rescue and rehabilitation of animals. The organization also connects animals’ stories of healing to the personal experiences of inner city, at-risk and disabled children, as well as adults with mental, emotional and physical challenges. Through interactions with animals, those who participate in its programs learn forgiveness, trust, empathy, kindness and leadership skills. The Gentle Barn’s mission is to teach people kindness and compassion to animals, each other and the planet. I also have volunteered with the United Pegasus Foundation, a nonprofit that provides a safe haven for equines coming off the racetracks. I worked with the organization’s founder to create a photographic essay book, “A Flash of Their Soul: Inspiration from the United Pegasus Foundation.” Through this, we shared the story of this meaningful horse rescue organization.
