In the article, Maria explains the benefits of a subscription model, defines key metrics and accounting terms to know and highlights the logistical challenges that distilleries should consider before introducing a subscription model.
An expert in the Beverage Alcohol space, Maria has written the books Distillery Finance and Small Brewery Finance to teach essential business skills to beverage alcohol producers. She has taught courses for the Business of Craft Beer program at the University of Vermont as well as the Distilled Spirits Council of the United Stated Academy.
