LOS ANGELES, CA (October 17, 2023) – GHJ, a national advisory and accounting firm, is proud to announce the appointment of GHJ Partner and Advisory Services Practice Leader Anant Patel to Global Leader – Network Capabilities for HLB, the international accounting network GHJ is a member of. One of the world’s leading accountancy networks, HLB International provides consulting and professional services in over 157 countries through nearly 800 offices worldwide.

In his new role, Anant will work closely with HLB’s Global Capabilities Committee and Executive Office to assess key areas of business to identify, implement and develop commercial best practices across the global network’s operational framework. He will leverage his knowledge and experience to ensure the smooth coordination of multinational proposals and work closely with the Executive Office’s Project Management Team.
“When we leverage the power of our global network, we can accomplish so much,” Anant continued. “By facilitating collaboration between industry and service groups, we can enhance HLB’s global capabilities and better serve clients around the world.”
Anant currently serves as Global Chair of HLB’s Transaction Advisory Services Team. Prior to joining GHJ in 2000, Anant worked at an accounting firm that was a member of HLB and located in England.

Anant leads GHJ’s Advisory Services Practice and Transaction Advisory Services Practice and is a member of GHJ’s Executive Committee. He advises in the area of mergers and acquisitions and provides financial due diligence consulting such as quality of earnings, working capital analysis, EBITDA analysis and projections and deal structuring. Anant has assisted on deals ranging from $20 million to $1.2 billion and is a Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA).
Due to his impact on the community and accounting industry, Anant was recognized as a 2018-2021 “Most Influential Private Equity Investors and Advisors,” a 2018-2021 “Most Influential Minority CPA” and multiple times as a “Top 40 in 40s” by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
