LOS ANGELES (August 28, 2020) – GHJ, a leading Los Angeles accounting firm, was once again named a 2020 IPA Top 200 Firm by INSIDE Public Accounting. The firm moved up the list from 113 in 2019 to 111 this year.
“This recognition means more now than ever,” said GHJ Managing Partner Tom Barry. “Being an IPA Top 200 Firm is a testament to our #BeMore culture and our investment in our people, as well as our commitment to innovation and technology in the industry.”
GHJ is made up of diverse employees who work creatively and collectively to help their clients and each other #BeMore every day. This year’s new core values of Bright Minds, Brave Hearts and Bold Actions are reflective of the Firm’s commitment to unparalleled client service.
“We work as a team to put our clients’ goals first and support a culture that ensures work-life balance and attracts exceptional talent,” Barry said. “Our culture of mutual respect, along with our mindset of empowering each other to our full potential, allows us to bring the best to our clients and position ourselves for future success and growth — especially during these unprecedented times during the pandemic.”
A significant part of this growth is reflected in the extensive efforts the Firm put into cultivating employee diversity, expanding alternative hiring practices and hiring remote or nontraditional talent. This strategic effort allows GHJ to continue on a growth trajectory and expand service offerings to clients.
“We work to stay one step ahead of the curve,” Partner and Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer Mari-Anne Kehler said. “The health and well-being of our clients, employees and families is at the forefront of everything we do. Through our innovation and problem-solving skills, we have been able to adapt through COVID-19 with our Business Disruption Task Force.”
GHJ is responding to COVID-19 and how it impacts business at a local, regional, national and global level. The Firm has heightened their client experience approach to make sure all clients are getting what they need to thrive through the pandemic.
“In today’s world it is even more important to serve our clients and our community in everything we do, and we have built an amazing team,” Barry said. “I am thrilled that we are once again recognized among the top accounting firms in the country.”
