“You will find only what you bring in” – Yoda.
What is your favorite part about working at GHJ?
The drive and positive attitude of each individual, which, when combined all together, result in successful outcomes for our clients and GHJ.
What do you enjoy most about working with clients?
Being their sounding board to bounce off ideas and providing value-adding advice in the moment.
What issues in the community do you care most about, and how does it motivate you?
The quality of education and, related to this, the development of people’s ability to assess what information is real and what is fake when forming an opinion to make important decisions in life (e.g., misinformation and influencer marketing). This motivates me to mentor early-career employees and interns, though I also coach experienced professionals.
What is your favorite quote that best describes your professional philosophy?
“Je gaat het pas zien als je het doorhebt.” – Johan Cruyff. This means, “You only see it once you get it.” Or, as it is more known in the U.S., “You will find only what you bring in” – Yoda.
What makes you get up in the morning, and how does it impact your work style?
My dog FuFu makes me get up in the morning, but what fuels my work life is working with a diverse team of talented people providing quality services and meaningful advice to our clients.
