GHJ Beverage Practice Leader Maria Pearman will present a general session on business essentials for the wine industry. Maria will present the session “Transforming Your Business Through Budgets” at the Sovos ShipCompliant Wine Summit on April 20 in Napa Valley, CA.

Maria will teach attendees how to create and leverage a budget to improve their business. A budget is the most impactful tool a company can use to grade performance, and the process of writing a budget can align the organization.

An expert in the beverage alcohol space, Maria has written two books about essential business skills: Small Brewery Finance, which was published by the Brewers Association, and Distillery Finance, which was published by the American Distilling Institute.
