GHJ Beverage Practice Leader Maria Pearman will teach an upcoming seminar on what new brewers should know when raising and allocating capital as part of Craft Beer and Brewing Magazine’s upcoming Brewery Workshop, June 17-20 in Portland, Ore.

Topics covered during this session will include how much capital a new brewery needs to survive, what corporate structure works best for owners and investors and how to manage cash flow during the critical first six months of operation.

An expert in the beverage and alcohol industry, Maria has written the books Small Brewery Finance, published by the Brewers Association, and Distillery Finance, published by the American Distilling Institute. She is also a Finance Committee Member of the Brewers Association and a Board Member for The Bruery.
