GHJ Beverage Practice Leader Maria Pearman is a featured speaker at the upcoming Craft Brewers Conference, which takes place May 1-5 in Minneapolis.
Maria will present two seminars during the event:
- Beer Subscription Programs: The Pros and Cons - Tuesday (5/3) at 1:30 p.m. CDT
- Contract Brewing: Legal, Accounting and Excise Tax Aspects – Wednesday (5/4) at 3 p.m. CDT
Maria is an expert in the beverage industry and specializes in internal accounting processes, financial reviews, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, financial strategy and succession planning. She has taught Finance and Accounting for Craft Beverage at multiple colleges, and her book Small Brewery Finance: Accounting Principles and Planning for the Craft Brewer, was published by the Brewers Association in 2019.
The Craft Brewers Conference is the only industry event that services both on-premises breweries and packaging breweries. It is hosted by the Brewers Association. The conference offers educational tracks on brewing operations, business and leadership, craft beer culture, quality and ingredients and government and legal affairs.
