Ara Anoshiravani joins GHJ to optimize operations, deepen talent development and further enhance the Firm’s client service model.
LOS ANGELES, CA – GHJ, a national advisory, tax and accounting firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ara Anoshiravani as Chief Operating Officer (COO). With over 25 years of experience in professional services, Ara brings a strong background in public accounting, operations, workforce development and team coaching.
This newly established role reflects GHJ’s commitment to intentionally scale its operations by strengthening internal systems while staying true to the Firm’s core values of strategic independence and high-touch service.
Based in GHJ’s Los Angeles headquarters, Ara will collaborate closely with firm leadership, practice leaders and market hubs across the globe to align day-to-day operations with GHJ’s long-term vision. Her focus will include optimizing internal processes, developing team efficiencies and enhancing the Firm’s service delivery for clients.
“The addition of Ara to our team is a natural evolution for GHJ as we build on our strong foundation, innovate and refine our processes, and provide the best service to our clients,” said Tom Barry, GHJ’s managing partner. “The COO role will ensure we remain agile while delivering this personalized, strategic support.”
Ara joins GHJ after more than two decades at a Big Four firm, where she held numerous leadership positions, including leading the West Tax U.S.-India team and overseeing the firm’s workforce development initiatives. During the duration of her time here, she was also a regional talent leader and leader of strategic operations in learning and development. Her experience in learning and development, change management and operational strategy positions her well to oversee GHJ’s continued investment in its people and infrastructure.
“It is a privilege to join GHJ and work with a team fully invested in its people and clients,” Ara said. “I was immediately drawn to the Firm’s culture and purpose, and I look forward to being a part of its trusted legacy.”
In alignment with GHJ’s Brave Heart value, Ara currently serves on the board of the Girl Scouts of Orange County and is a member of the Coaching Federation of America. She lives in Orange County with her husband and dog and has two children currently attending college.
This appointment follows a series of strategic milestones for GHJ, including Daniel Rowe re-joining GHJ as its High Net Worth Practice Leader and the relocation of the Firm’s Denver-area office to the Denver Tech Center to better serve local businesses.
GHJ continues to grow with purpose while maintaining its independence from outside investors and delivering personalized service to clients across the world.
