GHJ Audit and Assurance Practice Leader Satpal Nagpal spoke to Forbes Senior Editor Steel Rose about how the accounting profession is shifting.

“CPA firms need to be Swiss army knives, a one-stop shop for clients,” Satpal told Steel. “It is no longer a situation where you can provide just assurance; clients are looking for advice on strategic planning. They are looking to CPAs with questions that are outside the traditional CPA realm, such as cybersecurity.”

Satpal was recently named one of America’s Top CPAs according to Forbes. He has also been named a Top 100 Accountant by CalCPA and the Los Angeles Business Journal and a Leader of Influence by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
