GHJ Chief People Officer Discusses Quiet Quitting on KNX

GHJ Chief People Officer Alex Seiler appeared on Los Angeles news radio station KNX to talk about the trend of quiet quitting and how employees and employers should respond to this trend.

Quiet quitting is a term that first went viral on TikTok and sparked a discourse across in the internet. However, Alex notes, it is important to look past the term: Employees who are quiet quitting are simply seeking the same boundaries that come from a traditional 9-to-5 job.

Rather than quiet quitting, Alex suggests that employees keep an open dialogue with their team leaders or managers. GQ reports that quiet quitting is a response to burnout, which has been a major concern amidst the pandemic and the resulting Great Resignation.
