GHJ is proud to announce that Tax Expert Jim Rizzo was honored with a Service Recognition Award from the Tax Executives Institute’s (TEI) Buffalo-Niagara Chapter for his nearly two decades of dedication and leadership within the organization. During his tenure at TEI, Jim held multiple leadership roles within the Buffalo-Niagara Chapter including President, Vice President and Chapter Representative. 

With over 30 years of tax experience, Jim specializes in corporate taxation and helps businesses navigate complex tax regulations and develop effective tax strategies. He is a key leader in GHJ’s Buffalo office, where he continues to bring industry expertise and strategic guidance to clients nationwide.

Additionally, Jim is currently a member of the University at Buffalo Accounting Advisory Council and previously served as Vice President, Treasurer and Taxation Committee Chair for the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants’ Buffalo Chapter as well as Chair of the American Gas Association’s Taxation Advisory Council.
