On April 29th, Ilan Haimoff and Peter Klass will be teaching the course “Path to Protecting Money Due to Entertainment Clients.” This course will provide attendees with best practices in monitoring participation (royalty) statements, as well as an overview of production and distribution processes in both motion picture and television. In addition, this course will cover the structure and flow of a participation statement and the general process of auditing these statements. Through real-life examples and an actual case study, this course will also provide you with the tools to identify red flags, which can determine if an audit would be warranted.
