As the new tax law reshapes philanthropy, GHJ and Groundswell invite you to explore how businesses and private foundations can adapt their corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy during a webinar on November 7. The One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) implemented a 1% charitable giving floor, which takes effect in 2026. The 1% floor affects businesses that contribute 0.5% or less of their taxable income to charity. Under the new law, these businesses lose all tax benefits for their charitable giving.

On Nov. 7 at 11 a.m. PST, GHJ’s Corporate Tax Practice Leader Nisha Golcha and Nonprofit Tax Practice Leader Lizbeth Nevarez will join Groundswell Co-founder and CEO Jake Wood to discuss what CSR, business and foundation leaders should know before year-end. Attendees will learn various strategies for navigating corporate giving in 2026 and beyond.

Registration details can be found here: One Big Beautiful Bill? What the 1% Floor Means for Corporate Giving.
