GHJ Employee Benefit Plan Audit Practice Leader Andrew Holoubek will discuss what employee benefit plan sponsors need to know about new legislation in an upcoming webinar. This panel discussion about SECURE 2.0 will be hosted virtually by Graystone West Los Angeles, a consulting business of Morgan Stanley, on April 23 at 3 p.m. PDT and April 25 at 9 a.m. PDT.

Signed into law on Dec. 29, 2022, SECURE 2.0 includes many new provisions that become effective over various dates through 2026. Some of the most notable provisions include required minimum distributions, 401(k) financial incentives, emergency distributions, automatic enrollment, catch-up contributions and coverage for part-time workers.
