Ed Skiber and Kevin Michaelan have joined GHJ in strategic roles to support the continued expansion of the Firm’s M&A team, which serves middle-market companies on buy- and sell-side transactions.

ED SKIBER

Ed brings over 15 years of experience to GHJ, including more than a decade dedicated to mergers and acquisitions. Based in Seattle, Ed specializes in financial due diligence and quality of earnings reports for transactions ranging from $10 million to over $30 billion. His industry expertise spans entertainment, food and beverage, health and wellness, retail, and more. A former Big Four advisor who has worked globally, Ed’s deep technical accounting background allows him to guide clients through complex deal environments with confidence.

KEVIN MICHAELAN

Kevin, based in Florida, will oversee GHJ’s TAS Tax team and also serve as the tax lead of the Food and Beverage Practice. With more than 15 years of public accounting experience, Kevin has advised on hundreds of transactions across industries, ranging from middle-market to multibillion-dollar cross-border deals. His areas of expertise include tax structuring, modeling and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital raises. Known for simplifying complex tax issues, Kevin helps clients avoid deal friction and identify opportunities for value creation.
