LOS ANGELES, CA (November 10, 2022) – GHJ, a leading accounting and advisory firm, was named the Diversity, Equity + Inclusion-focused Firm of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal and the California Society of CPAs (CalCPA) at the 2022 Top 100 Accountant Awards.

The focus of GHJ’s diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) efforts is twofold. First, to ensure that the workplace reflects the rich diversity of the people in the communities GHJ serves. Second, to enable groups of people underrepresented in the accounting industry to thrive at GHJ as well as in the profession as a whole.
GHJ currently has three employee-led cohorts focused on achieving equity and building allyship in the accounting industry for women, people of color and working parents. The Firm also requires all employees to complete unconscious bias training and invests in programs and initiatives that support DEIA outcomes. Achieving this requires ongoing, open and sometimes difficult conversations that push mutual understanding and support of one another.
