HLB Certified a Most Loved Workplace for a Second Year

LOS ANGELES, CA (May 16, 2024) – HLB, the global advisory and accounting firm that includes GHJ among its independent member firms, has been certified a Most Loved Workplace for the second consecutive year. This distinction is given to companies that make their employees feel included, recognized and valued based on employee feedback from GHJ and other HLB member firms.

“At GHJ, our commitment to professional and personal growth for our team members is deeply ingrained in our Firm’s #BeMore culture,” said GHJ Managing Partner and HLB USA Chair Tom Barry. “We are proud to be part of a global network like HLB, which shares and supports these values and enhances our ability to provide our people with unparalleled opportunities and support systems. This alignment reinforces our collective mission to create environments where all our professionals feel genuinely valued and motivated to excel.”

HLB has been accredited as a certified Most Loved Workplace because of its commitment to putting its people first and promoting high-quality corporate cultures. Over the years, HLB has focused on providing professional development opportunities and ensuring its workforce has access to training and growth pathways that align with their career aspirations. HLB has also championed diversity in all its areas of business to create more inclusive working environments where HLB people feel valued and fulfilled.

“Through targeted engagement and professional growth pathways, we foster a culture of continuous improvement. On top of this, our flexible work arrangements reflect our commitment to meeting evolving workforce expectations,” said HLB Chief People Officer Marina Koojimans. “We are not just investing in our people; we are investing in their future and ensuring they feel valued, challenged and respected.”

Most Loved Workplaces surveyed more than 175 companies and more than 3,000 executives across the world. They found that productivity rises as employee sentiment increases, with 94 percent of respondents saying they did three to four times more work for a company they loved and 95 percent saying they stayed at companies they loved three to four times longer. This aligns with GHJ’s #BeMore cultural philosophy, as GHJ believes that people have the greatest opportunity for success if they are empowered to #BeMore to self, family and Firm.
