LOS ANGELES (August 3, 2020) – GHJ (GHJ), a Los Angeles-based accounting and advisory firm, welcomes Peter Brown as the new partner and Forensic Services Practice Leader, within the firm’s Advisory channel.

“It is with great pleasure that we welcome Peter Brown to our Firm,” said GHJ Managing Partner Tom Barry. “He brings a substantial amount of experience in forensic and litigation services, and his talent will further our commitment of positioning our clients for future growth.”

Brown has most recently worked as a Senior Managing Director in PWC’s Forensic Services in Los Angeles, where he was the practice leader for investigations and disputes. Brown has nearly three decades of experience as a forensic accountant and supervisor, as well as extensive experience quantifying damages in commercial litigation and internal investigations.

“I could not be happier to see Peter join our team,” said Partner and Advisory Practice Leader Anant Patel. “His background and experience will provide insights to propel us well into the future as we grow the practice to better serve our clients.”

Brown has served as a litigation consultant and testified as an expert witness in numerous disputes encompassing telecommunications, entertainment, construction and real estate. These disputes have involved complex issues surrounding business valuations, business-interruption loss calculations and fair-value calculations.

“I am inspired by the Firm’s #BeMore culture, and I cannot wait for the opportunity to help drive results while remaining committed to our core values,” said Brown. “I am looking forward to jumping in with both feet.”

GHJ is committed to engaging innovative leaders who cultivate long-term relationships with clients for future success. GHJ is both a trusted and strategic adviser to clients, and Brown’s addition to the team will help identify ways to optimize business performance and increase shareholder value.
