GHJ New York Market Hub Leader Andrew Pitt recently spoke to Accounting Today Technology Editor Chris Gaetano about how diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (DEIA) drove his decision to work at GHJ, a firm headquartered more than 3,000 miles away from his home in Buffalo, New York.

This interview was part of an article about the rise of the remote partner, a designation that is not new to the accounting industry but has become more common in recent years.

Andrew joined GHJ in Jan. 2023 as the Firm’s first partner outside of California and now leads GHJ’s New York office. He told Chris that he did not plan on joining a firm across the country, but he was drawn to GHJ’s #BeMore culture and diverse leadership.
