ILAN HAIMOFF

Ilan, CPA, CIA, CFE, CFF, is the leader of GHJ’s Entertainment Practice with more than 30 years of experience. Throughout his tenure at GHJ, he has been instrumental in establishing the Firm as a premier provider of profit participation, forensic accounting and valuation services for entertainment businesses. Ilan is a trusted advisor to talent and producers and known for his expansive expertise and passion for the industry. Beyond client services, he is the host of GHJ’s Media Clips Podcast, where he has produced over 80 episodes featuring high-level conversations with industry trailblazers.

PETER KLASS 

Peter, CFE, leads GHJ’s Profit Participation Services Practice, who has over 25 years of experience consulting on profit-sharing arrangements, film/television performance analysis, dispute resolution and litigation support. He guides financiers, talent, producers and rights-holders through profit participation audits and contract compliance to reach optimal financial outcomes. Peter is also a co-author of the well-read third edition of “Movie Money: Understanding Hollywood’s (Creative) Accounting Practices,” providing rich insight on studio accounting in the industry.

“It has been my utmost pleasure serving the leaders of Hollywood, and I am humbled at the recognition from LA Times,” Peter stated. “This is a demanding field for talent, producers and financiers and to be trusted by them to provide guidance and insight is a privilege.”

This is the third year Peter has appeared on the LA Times list.

ALAN PERRY

Alan, CPA/CFF®, is a principal at GHJ who joined the Firm after the 2025 merger of Hacker, Douglas & Company, LLP. Having spent years honing his skills in profit participation audits, he advises entertainment business leaders through profit participation and litigation matters. Alan has built a reputation as a confidant to clients working through complex financial arrangements in film, television and media production. Further, he helps clients analyze and interpret complicated financial data to protect stakeholders’ interests and ensure contractual compliance.
