Gina McLeod and David Sutton join the Firm’s Executive Committee, supported by GHJ’s succession-focused leadership model.

LOS ANGELES, CA – GHJ, a national advisory, tax and accounting firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Executive Committee: GHJ’s Tax Practice Leader Gina McLeod and the Transaction Advisory Services and Private Equity Practice Leader David Sutton. These appointments support GHJ’s continued focus on intentional growth and succession planning as the Firm scales nationally while remaining independent of outside ownership.

The Executive Committee, led by GHJ Managing Partner Tom Barry, is responsible for overseeing and guiding the Firm’s executive strategy. The addition of Gina and David is part of GHJ’s commitment to developing the next generation of firm leadership and aligning key business functions — strategy, operations and client service — to enhance value for clients, employees and the broader community.

GINA MCLEOD

Gina, who joined GHJ in 2023, brings over 25 years of accounting and tax leadership experience. At GHJ, she manages a cross-functional tax practice that serves clients with tailored corporate, SALT and international tax strategies, among other core services. Gina offers deep experience to her role on the Executive Committee in addition to a diverse point of view. Having spent the bulk of her career raising two children while working full time, Gina understands the important balance of prioritizing family while also investing in building a career. 

“I am honored to join the Executive Committee at such a pivotal time for GHJ,” Gina said. “The opportunity to help shape strategic decisions at the highest level, while representing voices across the Firm, is one I take very seriously. DAVID SUTTON

David, a recognized leader in the M&A advisory space, joined GHJ in 2017 and currently leads the Firm’s Transaction Advisory Services and Private Equity practices. Overseeing a team that focuses on quality of earnings, deal structuring and growth consulting, David and the practice are at the forefront of advising clients through complex transactions and scaling strategies. David has also worked internationally and in a career in electronic engineering. With this background, he applies unique experiences to the forward-looking plans of the Firm.

Gina and David join Tom Barry, Mari-Anne Kehler and Satpal Nagpal on the Executive Committee and succeed outgoing committee members Anant Patel and Donella Wilson, both of whom have made lasting contributions to the Firm’s executive strategy and culture. Their leadership helped strengthen GHJ’s national positioning and DEIA commitments and laid the foundation for the next chapter of the firm’s journey.
